New KCG Brochure is Now Online Available
The Kiel Centre for Globalization (KCG) was founded as a Leibniz ScienceCampus in October, 2016. It is a joint initiative of the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel (CAU) and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW), funded by the Leibniz Association and the State Government of Schleswig-Holstein. Over the past two years, our research team was expanded from 17 researchers to now 31 researchers. In addition to an increasing number of academic papers on various aspects of global value chains (GVC) published in the refereed journals, we organised multi-stakeholder events with the United Nations of Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to highlight the importance of GVC in general and for the world economy in particular. We also organised several globalization-related workshops and seminars to raise awareness among (young) researchers for the GVC-related issues. Last but not least, we acted as experts for different institutions and gave interviews and content contributions to different media, in order to facilitate the dissemination of our research findings to the policy makers and to the public. In order to provide a quick overview of the goals, activities and achievements of KCG to interested stakeholders, a new KCG brochure is prepared and now online available.
The abovementioned KCG Brochure is available here.
