Haiou Mao Joins KCG as a KCG External Research Fellow
Haiou Mao, Ph.D. (Wuhan University, China) visited KCG as a Postdoc Guest Researcher from March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020. After her return to China, she will continue her research cooperation with KCG as a KCG External Research Fellow. She is currently working on research topics related to innovation and divestment, tariff impact of the US-China trade tension, trade impact of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as innovation and internationalisation with focus on China, in cooperation with Prof. Holger Görg, Ph.D. (KCG Managing Director) and Dr. Wan-Hsin Liu (KCG Coordinator).
Her research interests lie in the fields of global value chains, firm innovation, regional integration and multinational enterprises. Her one-year stay until February 29, 2020 was financially supported by the Sino-German Science Centre (Chinesisch-Deutsches Zentrum für Wissenschaftsförderung).
