Thilo Kroeger Joined the KCG
Thilo Kroeger joined the Kiel Centre for Globalization in October 2016 as PhD Researcher. Previously, he obtained a double Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim and Stockholm University specialising in Industrial Organization, particularly Competition Economics, and International Economics. Having completed his Bachelor studies at Kiel University with a stay abroad at the University of Glasgow he returned in fall 2016 to participate in the doctoral programme Quantitative Economics. Prior to his doctoral studies, he gained valuable experience in applied competition economics during an internship at the Federal Cartel Office, Bonn, and a summer associate position at RBB Economics’ Brussels office.
His research interests lie in the fields of International Economics, (International) Industrial Organization, and Competition Economics. Corresponding to his research interests Thilo Kroeger joined the research project “Modelling Economic and Social Dimensions of Global Supply Chains” to conduct theoretical as well as empirical research on the implications of international dispersion of the production process into global supply chains.
