External Research Fellow Prof. Girma Visited Kiel Last Week

During the week from October 23rd to 27th KCG’s external research fellow Professor Sourafel Girma from Nottingham University visited the Kiel Institute and KCG. Professor Girma used his stay to discuss current and future research projects with KCG members.
Furthermore, Prof. Girma taught a course on treatment evaluation with observational data in the Advanced Studies Program in International Economic Policy Research, in which KCG members participated. The course equipped students with thorough understanding of the empirical methods used in policy treatment evaluation and common issues arising when working with observational data.
