Finn Ole Semrau Joined the KCG
In October Finn Ole Semrau started his work as a PhD researcher at the Kiel Centre for Globalization. He obtained his master’s degree in Economics at the Christian-Albrechts University of Kiel. During his studies he worked for the Kiel Institute for the World Economy as a student assistant and gained international research experience with a research stay at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. His research interests are the impact of globalisation on sustainable world development. At the Kiel Centre for Globalization he will be part of the project ‘Global supply chains, environmental regulation and green innovation’. By analysing firm-level data Finn Ole Semrau’s purpose is to reveal different abilities of firms to exploit extra revenues from export for green investments. His research will also account for possible differences in ability of firms in emerging and advanced economies.
