Further KCG Projects

The KCG research team, in cooperation with various partners, continuously conducts further research projects which are thematically linked to the four core research projects to different extents. These projects also deal with various aspects of globalization challenges with focus on global supply chains. They are financially supported by different ministries and foundations such as German

Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF), German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and German Research Foundation (DFG) etc. More information about these projects, including the research content, outputs and outreach activities are or will be made available here.

With a specific focus on Africa, KCG researchers were involved in several research projects focusing on trade and foreign direct investment as well as their impact in Africa in 2018/2019.
