Third Local Coordinator Meeting
The third meeting of the coordinators from the Kiel Leibniz ScienceCampi took place on July 18, 2017 at the Research Centre Borstel (Forschungszentrum Borstel, Leibniz-Zentrum für Medizin und Biowissenschaften). All three coordinators, Dr. Christiane Gerlach (EvoLUNG with its head office in Borstel), Dr. Lorenz Kampschulte (KiSOC), and Dr. Wan-Hsin Liu (KCG), joined the meeting.
The three-hour discussion covered several topics relevant for all three Leibniz ScienceCampi. Two main topics were the preparation and organisation of the annual scientific board meeting of the ScienceCampi and the content preparation for the coming event “European Researchers’ Night”. For the latter one the discussion also aimed at exploring common research base among the three ScienceCampi and searching for options of how to transmit the information in a joint way to the public. Visitors of the event will also have opportunities to gain more insights into campus-specific research background and results presented in form of, for example, posters and flyers.
