Wassili Lasarov Joined KCG in September 2019
Dr. Wassili Lasarov joined the Kiel Centre for Globalization as a KCG Fellow in September 2019. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Marketing at the Kiel University. Together with Tinka Krüger (KCG and Kiel University), Lasarov is working on a new DFG project “Me, we, and them: A context-sensitive model of social and vicarious consumer animosity (ME-WE-THEM)” that is led by Prof. Dr. Stefan Hoffmann (KCG Co-Head and Kiel University).
Before joining the Kiel University he worked as Global Key Account Manager and Consultant in the international retail panel business of GfK in Nürnberg. From 2014 to 2018, Lasarov was a research associate at the Institute of Business Administration, esp. Marketing, at the Kiel University and received his doctorate in 2018 (summa cum laude). Lasarov holds a diploma from the University of Dresden. His research interests lie in transformative consumer research, cross-cultural consumer research, and consumer psychology.
